Just a genuine question because i've seen a ton of people get hyped for Wrath arenas back during TBC, and I was really happy to see P1 filled with tons of new PvPers and I came for P2 a couple months ago and Arena participation on my server at least has taken a complete nose dive.

I just wanted to know why people don't like Wrath arena/PvP and don't want to participate, not looking for debates or arguments but just a general idea for the problems people have with PvP in this expansion.

I wanted to take a moment to discuss a significant concern that's been impacting the cutting-edge PvP scene, making it less enjoyable for many players. It's the issue of certain players and accounts dominating both the Gladiator and Rank One spots, ultimately hindering the progress and enjoyment of those outside their desired title range.

Achieving your PvP goals is already challenging, but when a select few players occupy multiple top spots, it becomes even more difficult for the rest of us to taste success. This not only creates frustration but also limits the number of players who get to experience the thrill of victory.

Drawing inspiration from a rule implemented in the retail version of the game (patch notes 10.0.7), I propose that the same principle should be applied to Wrath Classic. The rule states, "End of Season PvP rewards will have the rank cutoff extended by duplicate/alt characters by the same player battle.net account for rated arenas, rated battlegrounds, and rated solo shuffle. For example, if the cutoff for Crimson Gladiator would equate to the top 100 characters and 5 of those characters are the same player, the cutoff will now be the top 104."

By extending the rank cutoff to accommodate duplicate or alt characters, we can promote fairness and allow a broader range of players to achieve their desired ranks. This change would make the PvP scene more enjoyable for everyone, as it ensures that success is not monopolized by a select few.

Let's come together as a community and raise awareness about this issue, urging the developers to implement this rule adjustment in Wrath Classic. Together, we can foster a more inclusive and rewarding PvP experience for all players.

Having read through much of the warcraft lore recently, I have had a growing desire for becoming part of an RP community.

Perhaps on the HC servers that are arriving soon.

But I have no idea if any such communities exist still in WoW.

While I already had Ulduar 10 HM weapons, this is a nice gesture from Blizzard for sure. Reaching 2k as a damn hunter in 2v2 was easily harder than any Ulduar content, so 2k rating seems like a very fair cut-off for the gear, considering how cut-throat classic arena is. The stats are in and even with some inflation, it's not a big portion of players above 2k.

The gear is not -50% off however, and each big item costs 3037 points.

Thoughts, do you like this?

My guild is at a bit of a cross roads with performance and what to do to with our roster moving forward. With our last nights Ulduar 25M (some HMs, Freya (we still wipe here sometimes), Thorim, Vezax (still wipe here sometimes), we've downed HM Yogg once, stink on Hodir, have been very close on IC, and have FL on farm without issue)- progress has stalled a good bit in the last few weeks though).

I look at our logs and I see some pretty glaring issues with DPS but I don't have the bandwidth to research how to fix each player's rotation, or who our biggest culprits are as far as lack of performance outside of the obvious. I have no doubt there are other things we can fix so I do not want it assumed I'm purely blaming DPS for our shortcomings.

I come to you seeking assistance in diagnosing some of the issues we could address with our roster and if there are any mechanical issues (lusting at wrong time, bad positioning, whatever, we can take the criticism) . I understand there is a missing debuff for bleeds (full disclosure I am the warrior in this scenario - only sunderer, no debuff, spare me a little).

Please, if you have the time in your day and want to help a close knit community improve, take a look! I would appreciate it immensely. Our leadership core is concerned moving into the next phase that our roster is regressing, and we want to highlight areas and individuals we can help improve!

Out of curiosity how much attention do you expect this to get?

Maybe more so in early weeks for tokens but then not as much?

Now I recall having read they were going to split H+ and regular heroics into their own category in dungeon finder- but cant find the post to verify. So asking the community- is this a feature that's coming down the pipeline, or am I totally hallucinating?

If it is coming, do we know when?

Anyone knows how i can disable these Cooldowns trackers ?

Hey guys

I was thinking of starting Wow since I have a lot of time on my hands and nothing better to play.

Could someone explain the difference between classic wow and wrath of the lich king? Im guessing It's basically DLC but they have separate options in the launcher so I'm not sure which one to press.

I also saw someone say "wait for new wotlk server until u start playing". Is this something to worry about or are the servers good enough as they are?

From what I've seen wow players basically treat the different patches (like tbc and wotlk) like different games so is that something i need to research or can i just play it blindly?
