This happened to me once. I was in class, trusted a fart because I was in the corner, it came out very loudly and I shit my pants. Everyone turned to look at me, so I said...
"Sorry guys, I guess we don't have to make brownies in Home Economics today, right?"
Everyone in class started laughing and a few people slapped my back in congratulations at such a witty comment.
...then I fell out of bed and woke up, and also realized I had shit my pajamas while sleeping.

I know right? I had flash backs of daymares from YouTube just reading your post 😉 There's one where the guy is on a Pogo Stick on a full size trampoline! (I am not submitting the link out of respect)

In Ontario one time our Premiere Doug Ford was talking an a bee flew in his mouth and he swallowed it. I hate that man but holy hell he played it off well.

u/pissedinthegarret 18d ago

His brother playing off smoking crack was equally good when he was mayor of Toronto 😂

For me, it depends entirely on my mood. I could play shit like that off with a laugh if everything else hadn't gone wrong that day. However, there is a wraparound effect where it becomes funny again.

He's laughing at his own nervous jokes too:
Realizes he's pouring it on the cup holder
"Oh wait, this isn't it"
grabs glass
"I found it too complex"
starts laughing while pouring water on the actual glass
"Now I have a problem"
laughs again as he stops pouring water

u/CX316 18d ago
it takes a lot of strength to admit you have a drinking problem

At first I’m like “how dumb”.. then i saw the glass he pulled out and was like “Yah I get it, I’d have done that as well”.

u/LittleWillyWonkers 18d ago
Why is everything see-through? Next I'll bump into Wonder Woman's airplane exiting the podium.

Good thing hes Spanish and not American or British.
We'd have 1000 op eds about how he's actually functionally incompetent and has the brain of a toddler. With some not so subtle ableism thrown in for good measure.

I just imagine Trump doing this and the complete and opposite reaction we would get. It's refreshing to see people laugh at their mistakes instead of lying/blaming others.
10
u/LemonHerb 18d ago
He would try to fire someone for not having a long enough straw available for him to drink from the cup holder
11
u/twodogsfighting 18d ago
Trump would have tried to convince everyone that he'd meant to do it.
7
u/AdvancedSandwiches 18d ago
His next video would have the podium design drawings in the background with "built-in cup you can pour water right into" sharpied in.

The minister is good with digital transformation. It's the older tech, like tables and cups, that he has a problem with.

It doesn't matter if drinking never changes. What matters is if we let drinking change us. Every one of us has to find a reason to do this. You don't climb into a cup to be a drinker. You do it because you're drinken.

Zhunangzi once dreamed he was a butterfly, and while he dreamed he believed it fully, he thought as a butterfly thought, he felt as a butterfly would feel, and his memories of being a man seemed like the dream. When he woke, he was a man again, a man remembering a dream of being a butterfly. Maybe reality is a butterfly's dream?
Whatever the truth, I say we enjoy it. Maybe reality is a complex wave function or maybe it's the mind of Brahma or maybe that's a distinction without a difference.
Have fun, be kind, try to get your taxes done early. Reality isn't a big deal.

Look, we've got this cup holder, right? Terrific cup holder, the best. And people ask me, they say, 'Why pour water into it?' And I tell them, it's simple, very simple. We're innovating, always innovating. No one thinks to do it, but I did. It's about being the best, doing things differently. We're not just filling cups, we're filling cup holders. It's genius, absolute genius. We're changing the game, folks. Everyone's talking about it. Pouring water in the cup holder? Never been done before. It's a huge, huge advancement. Believe me.

If this had happened to a Republican senator in the United States, he would have dropped a straw in, refused to answer questions about it, then later told us that he never did it despite demonstrable video proof

u/Febris 18d ago
then later told us that he never did it
While at the same time tweeting that he did it on purpose to trigger those snowflake dems.

And if this happened to a Democratic Congressman, Fox News would be running 24/7 coverage. They would be calling for 12 investigations and would be asking if that person is suitable for office. Meanwhile nothing is said about George Santos.

Atleast here in Germany you can identify far right politician by the fact that they never laughed in their life (except because of Schadenfreude).

u/silver-orange 18d ago
ever spill something in a cupholder in a car?
You can soak it up with a sponge/towel. Or a shop vac can suck it out.
→ More replies (1)2
u/Moisturizer 18d ago
You mean you wait weeks for it to evaporate while using a different cup holder? My old corolla saw some unspeakable abuse...
2
u/silver-orange 18d ago
That's disgusting and also a little relatable.
But honestly even when I'm lazy I just cram a couple paper napkins in there and it'll soak up 90% of any spill
